Drugstore Haul + New Video on YouTube

Hey y'all! Today I wanted to share with you some products I recently purchased at the drugstore.  I'm going to list the products below.  I've also been able to try some of them out and will leave my first impressions as well! Let me know what new products from the drugstore you've been loving!

Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation in 220 Natural Beige - I haven't been able to try this foundation out yet, but I am so excited.  I have heard some really great things about it so far AND it's supposed to mattify your skin and minimize pores.  What more could you want?!? Oh, and it's only $5.99!

L'Oreal True Match Lumi Cushion in W3 - I wore this foundation today in my new video where I am talking about the products listed in today's blog post.  My first impression of the foundation is that I like it.  It claims to be a buildable luminous foundation and I would completely agree with that.  It felt light on my skin.  Before I set it with any powder, I looked like I had the healthiest skin.  I probably would have left it that way, but since I can be a little bit more oily I didn't! This is a little bit pricier for a drugstore foundation.  I paid $16.99 for it at Walgreen's.

Nivea Men Post Shave Balm - Today was my first time trying it and I don't know that I left my makeup on long enough to see if it helped with longevity, but I will be keeping you posted on that the more that I wear it this week.  I know it seems crazy to be using a men's product as a primer, but if it holds up to the claims then it will be totally worth it!  I found mine at Target for $5.99.

Wet 'n Wild Contouring Palette in Caramel Toffee and Dulce De Leche - These palettes have a highlighting and contour shade.  The Dulce De Leche had a neutral highlight shade and a cooler contour shade.  I used the highlight shade to set my concealer underneath my eyes and really liked how it looked.  The Caramel Toffee palette had a banana color highlight shade and a warmer toned contour shade.  I used the contour shade from that palette as a bronzer today and loved it.  It was super pigmented and blended wonderfully.  ANNNNNND these were only $4.99.  Does it get much better than that?

Wet 'n Wild Coloricon blush in Mellow Wine - So, this blush was amazing.  The color payoff was not what I expected! This also blended out really well much like the contour powders.  I got mine at Walgreen's for $2.99.

NYX Tres Jolie Gel Pencil Liner in Pitch Black - This liner is SO dark.  I was looking for a new liner to line my waterline and lower lash line.  I've used this twice since purchasing it and so far I really enjoy it! I am looking forward to trying the brown color of this liner!

Jordana Easyliner for Lips in Rock N' Rose and Tawny - I have never tried any Jordana products before, but I have heard amazing things about these lip liners.  I got mine in two colors, Rock N' Rose & Tawny.  Rock N' Rose has more of a brown undertone and Tawny is more pink.  These liners were $2.99 from Walgreen's! I also LOVE that they aren't wooden liners.  I have a major love hate relationship with wooden lip liners.

L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss in Bare Attraction - Everyone has come out with a liquid lipstick and the drugstore is now following in that trend.  This is not a liquid lipstick because it doesn't dry completely matte.  It has a little bit of a glossy look once completely dried, but it also looks more matte than a gloss at the same time.  It is a really interesting formula.  So far I really enjoy the formula and color!

The last thing I got was some Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes.  I was out of makeup wipes and just needed some new ones so I picked up my favorite brand!

Morphe Brushes + Mini Sephora Haul

Today I wanted to talk all about the new brushes I ordered from Morphe! Morphe brushes are one of the best, afforable makeup brush brands.  I placed an order and just got them in the mail.  I was so excited about trying them out!  The ones that I ordered were the E18, M523, M433, and M501.

E18 Round Crease
M523 Taperd Powder
M433 Pro Firm Blending Fluff

M501 Pro Pointed Blender

I also did a little shopping at Sephora! I purchased the Make Up For Ever Pro Bronze Fusion bronzer in 30M Natural Matte Sienna.  This bronzer is described as a gel-power bronzer that blends seamlessly for a lightweight, foolproof, luminous glow.

I also bought a liquid lipstick from Tarte.  I got the color Namaste.  It is a nude color.  The formula of these liquid lipsticks is very comfortable on the lips.  They dry completely matte, but do not feel drying on your lips!

The last thing I purchased was a sheet mask from the Sephora brand.  I got mine in the ultra moisturizing and brightening rose mask.  I loved the way this made my face feel afterwards.  This was the first one I have tried, but will definitely be going back to try some more!

Also, don't forget to go check out my YouTube channel! I just posted a video on an everyday natural look! Thanks y'all!

Sephora Haul + ColourPop Liquid Lipsticks

Hey y'all!

I have some very exciting news to share - I have created a YouTube channel and posted my first video.  I decided this year that instead of making New Years resolutions, I was going to set goals for myself.  One of those goals was to step out of my comfort zone and do things that I would normally never do in a million years.  I have always loved watching makeup and beauty related videos on YouTube.  I never once thought about creating one of my own, but that's exactly what I knew I had to do.  What better way to step out of your comfort zone, right?  I am already thinking about better ways to do lighting, editing, and overall video quality.  I hope you enjoy my video.  Like, comment, subscribe, share - any support is greatly appreciated!
